Ahsoka Tano had been on Onderon nearly two months before she understood just how rare a moonless night actually was. The shadows were so thick she could practically breathe them in as she stepped from the old hunting trail into a small clearing made by the recent fall of one of the Iziz region's giant jungle trees. The night air was rich with a thousand scents: pollen, petals, leaf litter, humus. Her lekku twitched against the rough wool of her cloak as they worked to interpret and track bird calls, moving undergrowth, fluttering insects, and-- Lux Bonteri stumbled into the clearing after her, hissing curses in his mother tongue -- most of them filthy enough it was obvious he'd learned them from Saw Gerrera. Book one of Ahsoka, Daughter of the Light. Ahsoka Tano, padawan learner to the famed Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker, has just completed her mission to help a rebel group retake Onderon from it's Separatist-controlled puppet king, and has grown close to the planet's senator, Lux Bonteri. However, when Tano get premonitions of Lux getting assassinated, she asks to stay on Onderon to protect him. Little does she know she will find herself getting closer to lux, and she'll have to face a dilemma: form an attachment with Lux and admit her love, or remain loyal to the ways of the Jedi? Anakin has turned to the Dark Side. Ahsoka is an ex-Jedi, coming back to her former temple. She is pursued by Vader, who is eagerly following his new Master's bidding. Ahsoka makes an attempt to kill him, but in the end, someone else pays the price for her decision. Follow Ahsoka as she is enslaved by Vader, who is having flashes between the Dark Side and the Light. Will she be able to save her former Master?

She hunts the Empire, He works for the Empire. Following years after Order 66, Lux and Ahsoka's lives have all changed for the worst, and maybe they both will understand each other, but maybe they will just take out all their problems on one another.
