This is a story about a girl, which her family was killed and went ahead for vengeance. She then went to another place, the Boiling Isles and fell in love with a royal girl who wished to be free and didn't want any rules or regulations to follow.

Luz stumbles into an owl after walking home from school, leading her into an unnatural world. She makes friends, something she has never had before, along with new forming feelings for a certain Blight. Amity decides she wants to surprise the human with a visit, only to learn it might be her last.
