The T-Birds is an experiment inspired by the characters and events of the American TV Show, the L Word. The T-Birds feature twenty-something lesbians living the life in Manila, Philippines. Some of the characters are inspired by a lot of gay people I met, but should there be a character that resembled YOU or an event that YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED in every way, do know that it might be purely coincidental as this is only a work of fiction.  Also, the story is told in a script format because I'm a bit lazy writing narrative for each scene. How the scene unfolds, I'll leave it up to your imagination. In case I have non-Filipino readers here though, you may always google the places mentioned here to get the picture. Okay, so this is my take on the GenQ Season 2 opening. It's just a one-off. I tried to undo all the mess, while maintaining some reality. Though, I know this is not how the season will start, I tried to make it plausible - which is why I kept the newbies and Carrie and tried to work them into the storyline. Set six months after Jenny's murder with Bette and Tina having cancelled their plans to relocate to NYC and instead choosing to remain in LA to be close to their friends and family after losing Jenny and realising just how important it is to spend time with those you love. Tina is now working part time as an Executive Director and Bette is currently freelancing as a manager to queer, black artists in LA. Still dealing with the aftermath of Jenny's murder and coming to terms with the trauma left behind, the two are navigating finding a new home in LA in an attempt to move on from that chapter of their life.

What is love? Love is a word those take as powerful. But you will never know or will never learn to fully appreciate the magic and beauty of love until you have been in love. Truly in love. But who is to determine whether you have been truly in love? Is it possible for you to have been truly in love once only to find yourself in the same predicament again? Same predicament meaning love. But then what happens in between is heartache. Heartache can change a person mentally physically and emotionally. A heartbreak can take someone through times that will be the hardest of their human existence. I for one have loved and lost. In the process of finding new love. TThe love that is for you. I assure you will find it's precious way to you. You will be amazed at what you can see or what will come up if you be patient and wait for good fortune to find it's way to you.
