L has been hunting down Kira for ages, determined to find this killer. Light, on the other hand, is too busy using the deathnote, and hiding his homosexuality from his father, to properly outsmart L -especially when he moves into his new apartment as Ryuzaki.

A Death Note alternative ending. When Light comes across the idea to become closer to Ryuzaki and gain his trust to discover his name, a game of life and death begins.

In an alternate universe where everyone walked away from the final confrontation unharmed due to the governments instructions, Near and Light remain rivals. It's about the Deathnote versus the Lifenote.

L and Light are fated to clash, one is the world's best detective, the other is a killer who kills criminals to create an ideal world. What will happen when a forbidden feeling starts blooming between the two ? Death Note does not belong to me ! The only thing in this story that belongs to me is my own plot twist at the end and the emotions of the characters. I love Death Note and wouldn't change the original ending for anything, but I kind of wish what I wrote here is what actually happened. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it ! This is mostly a recollection of some of my favourite Lawlight scenes in the anime with my ending in chapter 3

Settling into the new Kira Task Force headquarters after Light's time in captivity, L makes the decision to be chained to Light and with him 24/7. This decision was, on the surface, meant to create pressure for his prime suspect and to disallow Kira committing more murders under his watch. However, Light is no longer sure exactly why he insisted that he be put into captivity, and he does not quite seem like he remembers or possesses the power to commit murder from a remote location. As the two of them coexist with forced proximity at all hours of the day, questions of dignity, personal space, and the nature of their relationship arise, all while Light deals with the fact that his father seems to give his ongoing consent to this situation. How did Light and L sleep together during the Yotsuba arc (When they were chained together), if not intimately? This oneshot depicts exactly what I, personally think happened.
