V, a genius detective infamous for her ruthless and often illegal methods, picks up the Kira case alongside her childhood friend and rival/partner, L. However, they soon find that this case is a little more than they bargained for, as colleagues begin dropping left and right.

L, Ryuzaki, Ryuga, whatever he's called, is K's, Jade's, Jane's, whatever she is called, rival detective. The two have never met, all they know is that the other, could jeopardize the reputation both have worked hard for. Over the course of other investigations, L and K have developed a little competition, a game. So, when K is requested on the Kira case, the biggest case known to date, their game shifts, morphs into... something else. A game in which the two detectives go head-to-head to try and solve the mysterious Kira case. Thing is, K, Jade, Jane, might have a slight advantage. i do not own any of the characters beside my oc, Jade.

She was about six feet away, treading water like I was. 'C'mon, let's go back' She said, and she began to swim towards a floating, wooden hotel. I began to panic when I had lost sight of her, but noticed a tug at my wrist where a rope tied her and I together. I began to swim for the hotel, too, when dead bodies started to float to the surface. I stopped, in a circle of them, feet away from the hotel deck. She had already reached it, and was cursing at a jellyfish attached to her leg. Her eyes were the size of saucers when she dove back in. I found myself paralyzed, but she pulled me onto the deck just in time for the 'knifetopus' to miss me. Then I saw the jellyfish had killed her, she lay there still. L was willing to die for this case. But when the time finally came, he mourned his loss to the god of the new world. Kira. His enemy. Light Yagami. His friend? When L survives his murder he must go into hiding to work on the Kira case in secret. The taskforce believes L is dead, but Light Yagami takes on the title of L and the world continues on its path around the sun. All the while a new detective is challenging Kira and hoping to meet with L to solve this case. Can L and Syl take down Kira without revealing to Light that L is still alive? Part mystery, part romance, this story follows L and a new character Syl, as they work together to take down a god. Fanficition/AU/Diversion from Canon I do not own the characters from the manga and anime Death Note. Syl is my own original character. Any resemblance to real people is a coincidence.

Slow updates A series of robberies have taken place with no evidence for the police to follow. L steps in and finds someone who he believes is the Theif. He decides to go undercover to prove his theory by getting close to this girl. How will things turn out?

(I suck at descriptions LMAO) A mysterious new girl shows up at Light's school and he quickly takes notice. But this girl has a dark and terrible secret--- and misa is quite jealous. A love triangle quickly ensues as the mysterious girl becomes acquainted with a certian detective, and Drama ensues! Who will figure out the girl's secret first?

Slow updates What if L didn't die. What if he caught Light and he got punished. With the Kira case solved, L has no case to solve at the moment so he is free to do his own thing. One day he runs into a girl who interests him and he decides to try to learn about him. How will things turn out?

When Miyuki Misora learns of the tragic death of her sister, Naomi Misora, she is overcome with grief and sorrow. The only conclusion that leads her to Naomi's death is none other than Kira himself. With a sense of motivation to avenge her sister's death she decides to do the very thing that led to her downfall, join the task force.

Shinigami princess Shizukana is sent to the human world to reap the souls of all the KIRA victims. But, because of all the coincidences with her and the KIRA victim's deaths, detective L suspects her of being KIRA. She has to deal with being a KIRA suspect, reaping souls, and her love between L and her friend Kin. LXOC

As the assigned bodyguard of world famous detective L, you feels as if your job and really your entire place in the world is completely useless. After the Kira case arises though, you end up finding yourself in the middle of it.
