Everyone knows not to be outside once the sun goes down if they want to avoid the werewolves. Therron Chase has always been afraid of the wolves, so much so, that he makes sure to give himself more than an hour to get home from work. One evening, however, his car has a flat and he is forced to try to make it home on foot. He ends up outside after dark for the first time in a long time-but that's when the truth is learned. Werewolves are closer to you than you might think. Enter Sheriff Dan Barkas who has werewolf troubles of his own.

a short story i wrote about a werewolf and his long lost childhood friend. connell is heavily inspired by remus lupin metaphorical to more than just the werewolf struggles, but i leave that up to you to interpret.

Adopted by Katie and Oliver Wood and eventually going to Hogwarts, Kasia struggles with her condition and the everyday things. Strictly canon, new generation, same year as James Sirius Potter and Fred Weasley II, look out for familiar names!
