this is a compilation of head-canons that either I have come up with or I have read and expanded upon with a friend for the ones that aren't original head-canons I will try to credit the author or post the image of the head-canon. feel free to make head-canon suggestions/prompts, or ask me to expand upon these.

so I am part of a beetlejuice role-play on Instagram and here is a transcript of the what happens (I got permission from the group chat to do this)

Y/N lived a healthy and happy life. She had many great friends, a sweet boyfriend, and a remarkable university she attended. After her semester finished she was going to visit her Auntie Delia's family for a week to hang out. Y/N did not know that a demon and a ghost couple lived in the Deetz's house. Let alone Lydia having them as friends. Those seven days will forever change Y/N's life. . . . "So... what's your name?" Y/N crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at the demon. "I can't say my name, Babes!" Beetlejuice growled and approached Y/N closer on the roof. "What kind of fucking demon can't say their name?" Y/N scoffed and laughed at Beetlejuice.

She also meets Rich, Jake, Christine, Brooke, Jenna and Chloe. But there's something different about Christine than the rest, Lydia thinks. What's wrong with Lydia? Michael discovers that he can see ghosts and meets Beetlejuice, but during his emotional moments can Michael also refrain from saying "Beetlejuice" three times? Oh and: Boyf riends warning :)

Lydia was forcibly removed from her home by her parents after they found out a certain ghost was still haunting it. When she returns after 11 years, Beetlejuice is more than happy to see her and finally be with her again. And that all changes when an accident occurs that nearly kills Lydia... all they can both wonder is what will happen to them? Following the Beetlejuice cartoon story line, this fiction is a romance, fiction, and overall fun story.

With Lydia still in mourning for the death of her father, her mother Emily moves her and her new life coach Lawrence to a new house. There, Lydia meets and befriends a lonely recently deceased couple who are still yearning for a child of their own and a lonely demon woman named Delia who really just wants to have a friend.... Someone who can finally see her.

Lydia has been experiencing more than just being able to see the dead lately. A lot more. And it may just have something to do with the fact that there's a prophecy connected to her and her family and that the barrier between the living world and the Netherworld is at risk of weakening and fading away completely. Now she's going to need to put her new skills to the test to prevent that from happening. Before it's too late.

It's been a couple of months since the day Adam and Barbara died from a fall through the floorboards of their own house. They have everything they could wish for, friends, family, a daughter (even if none of them were biologically related to them), but the one thing that they don't have control of just yet is their ghost powers. Luckily, Betelgeuse is there to help them out.

Lydia Deetz didn't want to pack up her life and move away. She knew the real reason why they were doing it. And when she meets a guy with a thing for stripes, she decides that if her life's going to be ruined..she may as well have some fun. (This fanfic will mainly be centered on the musical canon- the characters will have the same looks and personality and such. However there may be a couple inspirations from the cartoon as well...you'll know when you see them :) also there won't be B**tleb*bes just friendship)

What if instead of Lydia stabbing Betelgeuse with that bad art of hers, the Maitland-Deetzes decide to exorcise Betelgeuse in hopes of getting rid of him. However, something happens to go wrong and leaves Betelgeuse trapped in the house with them for good. Unable to leave. Though they are worried, the Maitland-Deetzes must make do with this and, as that happens, they (and Betelgeuse) may learn a thing or two about what it means to be a family.

You have been going to the same school for around two years, but you still don't have many friends. You do have your own little four member friend group though, and your happy with that. When your English teacher announced to the class that there will be a group project, you look over to your friends who smile back at you. But then the teacher announces that SHE will be picking partners. You get out with people and a goth-looking girl that you didn't even know went to your school- Lydia Deetz.

(A/N: named might be changed) This is a story base on OC I created. Cathrine Maitland is a sweet and innocent girl that is until her life got turned around by her parents death. She become a selective mute because of her horrible foster family. She was cut off from everyone that is until she meets Lydia Deetz.
