I don't know where to begin this story except to say... I dreamed of him. Not as often anymore. But in ways that changed me. My brother, Muhaimin, we called him Amin, passed away when he was just 20. It's been years now, but there are still days where the memory of his final breath clings to the air like humidity. And the strangest thing is... long before he died, he came to me. In dreams. - This story is based on true events. My late brother, lost to his battle with Stage 4 T-cell lymphoma in 2019. May Allah s.w.t. grants you the highest place in Jannah, my little brother. You and Daniel become very close and your friends Raven, Cheyenne, and Leah also become close with the band. Then you are diagnosed with Lymphoma a week after your high school graduation. Leah gets in with a bad crowd and will need saving from one of the Why Don't We boys. Everything seems to turn upside down, but at least you all have each other. #cancer #gangs #drama #romance

Uchiha Sasuke is a doctor. His next patient has a brain tumour and doesn't have long to live. He didn't expect it to be so hard to meet, fall in love, and say goodbye to Naruto Uzumaki. "But," Sasuke muttered, breathing in some air and letting out another sob again, "I-I love you." Naruto's eyes widened at the confession. This was the first time that he heard that phrase from Sasuke. Naruto lowered his head and chuckled, clenching the blanket and letting the tears freely hit the cloth. He loved Sasuke. I know the title isn't the best and the cover image isn't mine (I will most likely paint a cover to upload for this story), but this is my story with cancer. Also thanks to my Mom who pushed me to write this. (Also I tried to make the tags funny)

George is cancer free after a long battle full of chemotherapy and surgeries at his fourteenth. He starts living his life again, goes back to school and hangs out with his friends and family to appreciate all the small things in life as his leg starts hurting again... Clay is grieving because his mother passed away from lymphoma, a cancer type that's running in his family. With barely anyone around him who can comfort him while grieving, he also needs to deal with his severe anxiety coming from emetophobia, his extreme fear of throwing up. But then the worst thing happens... just as Clay gets diagnosed with blood cancer, George gets diagnosed for the second time with bone cancer. Clay's fear is so big that he doesn't know how to go on and George doesn't know if he can fight this battle a second time... Warnings: -Cancer (bone cancer (relapse)/blood cancer) -Suicidal thoughts/suicide attempt (short) -Bullying (only once in the end) -Throwing up (skippable) -Chemotherapy -Amputation ⚠️ Clay has emetophobia in this story and for all the people with this same phobia, I added a trigger for mentions/talk about throwing up/nausea, a trigger for nausea and one for throwing up. They are all skippable!!

This is a short story that I wrote for my creative writing class. My professor really enjoyed it and said I should enter it into some writing contests, so I thought I'd publish it here to start. This is a creative nonfiction piece that is based on a true story about the time I had an irrational "cancer scare" and how my mom helped me get over it, hence the title "Doctor Mom." My goal for this piece is to give readers insight into the context behind my hypochondria and to ultimately show readers that cancer isn't a death sentence. I hope y'all enjoy my story!
