When Olivia Dalton celebrates her 18th birthday at a local bar, never would she imagine falling for the lead singer of the band playing that night, especially not for a girl. She has always admired female artists and strong feminine figures in the media but not like this. This was different. Is this just one of those "I don't know whether I want to be you or be with you?" or is it love? With these feelings beginning to cloud her brain, tragedy strikes as her mother collapses. Lynn Gunn and y/n are juniors in high school. They met through school but hit it off quickly when they run into each other at a concert. Neither knows where their relationship will lead, but they're both eager to find out.

When Lynn is almost raped outside of the local gay bar, a girl named Alexa comes to her rescue. Even with Alexa being fine and insisting Lynn doesn't owe her anything, she somehow still feels obligated to try and repay her now.

When Lynn and Alexa have to move apart not only does the distance drive them apart but so does their families'. Can they work through their homophobic parents AND the distance or will it really drive them apart forever.

Lynn is a struggling photographer who tends bar at said cabaret-turned-lounge to make ends meet. The two, naturally, form a very lucrative partnership, but between Ashley's demons, Lynn's girlfriend, and the complex web of mysteries and relationships that entangles them and their colleagues, they have a lot to face down if they want that happy ending.
