Within the abandoned headquarters of the Red Ribbon Army, Bulma has discovered a laboratory left behind by its owner, Dr. Gero. There, she discovers a scanner that can bring a person from the real world to a virtual world called Lyoko. She uses Goku as a test subject, but due to a freak accident, the boy's body has permanently been virtualized. Now, he must find a way back home with the help of a girl named Aelita and her friends. A group of university employees team up and digitize themselves to a virtual world in order battle an evil virtual enemy capable of inflicting real world damage. Follow along as they save the world while dealing with adulting problems like their love lives or careers. This is my fan fiction based off of the early 2000s kid show Code Lyoko. I really loved the show, but there were unfinished relationship arcs, unexplained obvious questions, and plot holes in the original show that aggravated me to no end. So I decided to fix the issues and expand upon what's lacking to make the series more cohesive, exciting, and romantically satisfying. I love taking a 30 year-old adult and shoving them into those fantastical events that stereotypically happen in teenage stories. After all, over 50% of YA readers are adults. Cover Art done by me. The various character arts are not mine. But I had trouble finding the original creators, thought there is a copyright notice on the photos.

It is a virus program that has evolved into a dangerous entity which inhabits and controls the Supercomputer that holds the virtual world of Lyoko. By activating Towers, XANA takes actions and launches attacks in the real world, and can program monsters, alterations, and traps on Lyoko to fight its enemies. After its supposed destruction, XANA managed to miraculously revive itself through infecting the unknown Cortex Replika, becoming even stronger and more crafty than before in Code Lyoko: Evolution.

The Lyoko Warriors aren't the only ones protecting Lyoko and battling X.A.N.A. The Lyoko Defenders are another group of students who found a second supercompter and the hiden A.I. Emi. Emi is the manifestation of Lyoko's consciousness, making her a Guardian of Lyoko. Emi has complete and total control over all of Lyoko. However, with the reactivtion of the supercomputers, Emi has lost both her memories and keys to Lyoko. Cam, Alexei, and Kya are now tasked with stopping X.A.N.A from recovering the keys. Can the Lyoko Defenders protect Emi and stop X.A.N.A. from uptaining the Lyoko Keys?

It is two years after the supercomputer has been shut down. Little do the heroes know that Xana is not dead instead only more powerful. This will be a fight that is harder than the warriors have ever fought.

Aelita starts being plagued by weird visions again, and in them her mom keeps saying something about the Five. Who are the Five? And is Aelita's mom really the one contacting her or is someone else? Could it be Xana trying to trick her into returning to Lyoko? Aelita is determined to find out and with the factory due for demolition in two weeks, there's not much time!
