Unable to do so by himself due to complications in his own health, but beckoned by his aunt's doctor to move in with her, the whole family moves to Flood Manor to watch over their once-estranged relative. With a begrudging mother and his close and loved sister, Damien tries to acclimate to life in an extravagant and beautiful mansion. But with the house in slight disrepair, Damien can only feel unwelcome in the dark and frightening Flood Manor, where there are rooms that make no sense and fixtures that have no apparent utility where they are placed. Why did his aunt get this strange and mysterious home? Who was the previous owner, the now deceased Master Flood, and what had they hidden in their home? Why does Damien's mother hate his aunt, and why has his aunt begun to lose her mind? And finally, why does Damien feel that he's the reason for it all?
