Max can see ghosts. Which, isn't all that bad honestly seeing as how she doesn't personally know any of them. They find her if they need help, a last word or two, and she slips notes in mailboxes, pulls out secret money stashes, the works. It's really not that bad. Until popular boy Marco Jensen gets in a car accident, and dies. It's decided that it was a drunk driving incident, with Marco being at fault. Max however, knows the truth.
