One morning Elena went to Damon's house and saw Damon and Katherine naked, asleep next to each other. Heartbroken Elena packs up and moves to San Francisco to attend Stanford med school. There she meets Jackson Avery, her now boyfriend. She has a great life, perfect grades, perfect boyfriend but then she gets a letter. Her best friend Matt is getting married, which should be great news except for the fact that to attend the wedding she will have to face Damon and Katherine for the first time in a year. Will Damon and Elena reconnect? Or will Elena realize Jackson is the one?
