When Pacifica Pines and her parents move to her grandmother's hometown of Gravity Falls, she is determined to find the truth about the murderous scandal that sent her family packing and her grandmother, Pippa, missing. As Pacifica uses her grandmother's diary and her new job on the school newspaper to uncover the truth about the murder of Stanley Northwest, she faces off with a self-entitled rich boy, vampire and werewolf gangs, a country musician who dabbles in necromancy, and a parasite demon residing in a missing girl's head.
