A collection of poems some love, some hate, lit with darkness filled with angst

calling all Edger Allen Poe fans

Within the eye of the macabre, settles the subtle balance of life patient for a feather dipped in ink. It beckons for a plague. After the song of the Deathly Romantics finished, romance refused to wither in its casket. Waltzing in hand with the darkness served poetry on a platter consumable to all. But, it seems the guests...have fallen. Shrunken heads emerge, maddened from feverish berserk. Despite this, the macabre rises to represent poetic meanings in midst of mesmerizing allures of synthetic sadness. The plentiful world sheltered foaming hunters. Avoiding infatuation from them concluded to irresistible conflicts waiting for a companion in the dark. The rubies in those courting sweet eyes cared for a tragic dance of freedom. Jewels, much alike romance, fantasy, tragedy, and gothic poetry, waited to glamorize those curious to seek the treasure of the Macabre Danse: the love of the macabre and poetry.

A coffee to go and a train ride out of a war torn town and Elliott Gray has no idea how he got there. Enclosed in a cramped carriage with a stranger insistent upon keeping his credentials concealed, the bombardment never seems to end. Not until their unexpected meeting is intruded upon by Edward Mailbury, a portly gentleman who appears to pay no heed to the persistent reel of images, death and sufferance flicking passed the windows. With the pull of an emergency lever, the true punishment comes to light.
