I was an experienced, antiquarian book dealer who had seen many unique collections. However, NOTHING was ever as remarkable as Colonel Sidney Mashbir's personal letters, photographs, official documents, which I came into possession of. It will change the way historians and the general public look at WWI and WWII. Born in 1891, Mashbir joined the Arizona Guard at the age of thirteen as a bugle boy, during the time of cowboys and Indians, and the U.S. Cavalry...His long career continued into the Atomic Age! Some of his earlier clandestine missions included both chasing, and assisting in the negotiations with the legendary bandit/revolutionary, Pancho Villa. His efforts helped stabilize the U.S./ Mexican border...Mashbir also uncovered and eliminated extensive enemy spy networks in the U.S., prior to U.S. entry, and during, World War I. Colonel Mashbir went beyond heroic patriotism, he also took on the role of a diplomat in the pursuit of peace. During the 1920s and 1930s he allied with top leaders of Japan, including members of the Royal Family. Together they attempted to prevent conflict between their nations and the outbreak of WWII . . . Regrettably, Mashbir would find himself torn between his close friendship with many of Japan's more enlightened leaders and the major role he would have to take in defeating that nation. During WWII, he headed a top-secret, military intelligence organization, ATIS, which dramatically shaped the battle strategy of the Pacific theatre of war, significantly shortening the conflict. Once WWII ended, to encourage a smooth transition of Japan into a future ally, 11 Secret private meetings between General Douglas MacArthur and Emperor Hirohito were arranged, where Colonel Mashbir served as the main translator, liaison, and facilitator. As personal advisor to both General MacArthur and Emperor Hirohito, Mashbir helped shape the rapport America would have with Japan during its Reconstruction period, and far beyond.

After the Second American Civil War, With the defeat of both of Reed's failed state of Syndicalism and Long's American Union State, MacArthur is now faced with the three alliances, The Entente, Mitteleuropa, and the Third Internationale. Douglas now the "Dictator" is now in a difficult situation, He is faced with three choices, He can join the Entente, He may join the German Empire in Mitteleuropa, Or just be in a Neutral state. We will see in the future in where I think the United States might be in the 40s all the way up to the early 2000s. This will look upon the Life of General MacArthur as the "American Caesar" and how America became a super power again.

My first crossover and songfic one shot. I listened to "Strobelite" by Gorillaz and it was really good, so I imagined me, the Total Drama EDM Club and the new (yet familiar) EDM celebrity DJ Rollex are hitting the dance floor and singing that song because why not? Sometimes there are good songs and you just want to sing them out, but can't do it. Total Drama and Trolls do not belong to me.

Remember the old newsreels that used to play in theaters before the feature film was shown? In The Ministry Communications Unit: It didn't happen, but it could have!, author Gordon Smith transports readers back to movie theaters during World War II, and allows the viewer of the newsreel to step through the projector screen into the reality of the crew creating the films. The story centers around a specialized film propaganda unit (the first of its kind in Australia) assembled to create short films with the goal of relieving fears of a Japanese attack on Australia. The shorts were designed to help prevent mass exodus from the northeastern coastal cities and, as a by-product, convince the Japanese that this area would be too difficult to infiltrate to be worth their effort. The need to allay fears grew from the Japanese bombing of nearby Singapore, and the fact that trade agreements between Australia and Japan prior to the war gave Japan intimate knowledge of shipping channels into Brisbane. The film unit adopted the name (Defense) Ministry Communications Unit, later abbreviated to MCU. Their headquarters was located in Brisbane, a strategic location on the northeast coast of Australia. Brisbane was also the headquaeters of the allied forces in the South Pacific, with the U.S. General Douglas MacArthur in the lead. The propaganda unit started with six members tasked with producing films as well as magazine and newspaper articles, and later grew into several teams. The book is set in several Australian locales, but mainly in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra. The reader is also taken to London, Los Angeles and San Francisco as the story progresses. It was interesting to read about media production during WWII. Although this was a work of fiction, there are actual historical elements included.
