Shockwave owes a lot to the Decepticon overlord Megatron and finally, after many upon many megacycles, Megatron has given him a way to pay him back; a mission for him as an Autobot spy. Longarm was nothing but a lie to achieve such a simple goal, but he is growing into more than Shockwave ever wanted him to.
