The Siege of Tyre is a Historical Fiction Short Story based upon Alexander the Great's Siege of Tyre. The story is written from the perspective of the fictional Hypaspist named Dumnus, a veteran officer in Alexander's army. He and his comrades are the elite heavy infantry of the Macedonian Army and they are tasked with breaching the walls of Tyre, the city that 'almost' bested the mighty Alexander.
