Callisto Protocol 2: Steel Alive delves into the harrowing aftermath of Jacob Lee's tragic fate in the Last Transmission DLC. After his apparent demise, Jacob's shattered body is mysteriously retrieved by the enigmatic PostHuman Corporation (PHC), a shadowy rival to the UJC. Unlike UJC's focus on biological evolution through the Biophage outbreak, PHC is devoted to transhumanism-elevating humanity by fusing man and machine. Jacob awakens to find himself transformed into a cybernetic weapon, his body rebuilt with cutting-edge technology but at the cost of his humanity. Haunted by fragmented memories of his former life and plagued by eerie echoes of the Biophage, Jacob is forced into the service of PHC, who seek to weaponize his unique survival skills against the UJC and the lingering Biophage threat. As Jacob struggles to reconcile his identity with his machine-bound existence, he uncovers PHC's sinister plans: the creation of a transhuman army designed to dominate both Earth and the colonies. Torn between revenge, survival, and a search for redemption, Jacob must navigate a brutal new reality where flesh, steel, and ambition collide. In a race against time, he faces horrifying new hybrids of Biophage and cybernetic abominations, while uncovering the disturbing truth behind PHC's obsession with evolution-and his own role in their plans. Steel Alive is a chilling exploration of humanity's fragile boundaries, where the lines between man, monster, and machine blur into chaos.

When an intelligent robot uprising leads to a suspended treaty between humanity and computers, everyone must wait twenty years for the right person to be chosen. This person will be scanned and copied. A mechanical counterpart will be created, one who shares the same physical qualities as well as mental. The two are exactly the same except for emotions. One has them; the other doesn't. The treaty said that after twenty years, one person would be chosen to be copied, then the human and machine would fight until one was defeated. If the human won, this would prove to the robots that humans were superior. This is what I have to win for all of humanity. If I don't, all that humanity is--love, fear, anger, passion, hope--will be obliterated and replaced by machines. **Please notify me of any typos or grammatical incorrections you find.**
