Carter always had boys running after her, and she was never confused when it came to them. In her mind, they were always the same. That is, until she meets her best friend's older brother Lucas. Now, she get's challenged to deal with a guy, who isn't giving up easily and who makes her head spin round and round. Complications rise, and Carter realizes, falling in love, isn't as easy as stories seem to make it.

Macie and Daniel's mother is a ful time ER nurse and a part time mom. SHe spends more time at the hospital, than she does at home with her children. It doesn't help that Mac and Danny's father passed away while serving for our country. Mac is left to take care of Danny practically on her own, while going to school, maintaining a part time job, and keeping good enough grades to maintain her scholarship to Wesley Prep, a prestigious dance school. She doesn't have to for a love life, but someone might change that. Someone named Blake.
