WHO KNEW THAT WORKING ALONE WILL BE THIS EASY? Max Ernest Doherty is many things: he leads a (so far) successful career as junior bank manager at the Bank of Municiberg, he's a frequent enjoyer of pipe-smoking... and he happens to be a superhero in one of the most well-known supers' groups, called The Phantasmics. After a close-call action that could have went better, and with Gazerbeam, a pillar member of the Phantasmics leaving the group for good, Max, or as he is known in the public eye, Macroburst, decides to set off on private missions of his own... until, a few action-packed months later, the government decides to shut the super-business down. But danger is never far away. Supers, including Max's own team members and allies are disappearing, the levels of crime are getting out of the authorities' hands, and there might be more to the change of winds than meets the eye... Note: This is a fanfiction set in the world of Disney's/ Pixar's/ Brad Bird's The Incredibles. Apart from the ILLUSTRATIONS and a few character exceptions, I do not own the original characters and setting.
