Mac is a lonely 8 year old boy who doesn't have anybody to talk to. Then, a charity organization, sponsored by his mother's bank, gave him an opportunity to meet a friend via letters from an orphanage in town. He then meets Bloo, which just a nickname since he didn't get adopted yet, becomes his best friend. Until something happened and he stopped writing letters. 18 years later, 26 year old Mac is now working as a full time charity event planner.
