The story starts at the end of Love Never Dies, or LND, the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. You may want to read this after you at least read the Wikipedia page or listened to the soundtrack. Switching between Erik's and Gustave's point of view, it tells the story of what happens after Christine died. Gustave learns some disturbing secrets about his true father. Then, the story takes place eight years later with Gustave going through some family initiation where he, Erik, Madame Giry, Meg, and Miss Fleck bump into an old friend. We then travel thirty-one years to 1919 to deal with some unfinished business. QUICK NOTE: THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS I DO NOT OWN: ERIK DESTLER, CHRISTINE DAAE, VICOMTE(?) We only know the beginning of the story of how Erik came to the opera house. What if we know the full story until he meets Christine. This story is in Madame Giry's (who first name is Antoinette) and Erik's pov. I don't own anything related to poto, spoilers will be in this story so watch the 2004 movie before reading

Lauren keeps to herself. She is a seamstress at the Charles Garnier Opera House in Paris. Her cat Crescent, and her best friend Phillip partake in her journey with the Opera Ghost. When Erik is kind at first, but turns cold at a possible love interest for Lauren, something goes horribly wrong. Over time, Lauren sees his insecurities, interests, disinterests, personality, and finds out more about his past. She has never felt the feeling of real love until she comes to realize it. Erik is a sociopath with a stone cold heart, and Lauren is woman who is weak, but has a kind heart. Will she save him from himself?

The great fire, it cost Erik everything he ever knew. His house, his only love... everything. He roamed the streets for almost four years, staying hidden in the shadows he made himself familiar with only to find his way back to the abandon and burnt opera house. He stayed there and the first few months were nothing but peace, silence and his inner demons ripping him apart. He had no power for life anymore, no muse to write songs and compose miracles. He simply spent his days looking at the cave walls, not able to think, to see, to feel. All that changed when his ear perked the sound of a child's laughter, informing him of people entering his house but he had no power to kick them out. He saw no reason too. The Phantom was dead after all. He assumed they were the new owners, a word he heard a few times during the past 2 weeks. He mentally scoffed, wondering what they would do with the destroyed opera. Open it again? Fix it? He could care less. All he wanted was his solitude. #1 in phantomoftheopera (10/3/21)

I stood there for a few minutes admiring but also fearing him. Looking at this man would be kind of like looking at a normal innocent man that you see every day walking down the street. He gives you a smile and nods his head at you. He's the one at a store who holds the door open for the lady and asks her if she needs help with her bags. There is a problem with these kinds of people though, they may look simple and kind but there is almost always a nagging feeling telling you there's something wrong with him but you ignore it because he is so kind and gracious you can't possibly imagine them being anything but what you see before you. I warn you now, beware of this type of man or even woman for that matter, just because they look nice does not mean they are. Remember what people tell you, when you take medicine, the best kind is the one that taste the most gross and the one that's bad for you is the one that tastes the best. It's the same with people. Anyone who is too nice and sweet... is bad for you. Ever wonder what happens when you go in a coma? If it's just darkness or if it's dreams. If was dreams, what would your mind come up with?Your family who died not that long ago, the boy you always wanted to date and have loved since the day you saw him? Maybe it's your favorite movie or the place you most belong in. It might be the place where you are to learn who you truly are and who your real friends and family is. Whatever it is, it's not what Saphira had expected.
