Evan "Buck" Buckley has had a wild life and some wild eras in it as well, but he'd traded all of that in for the sweet life: he was a firefighter at station 118, he had a loyal best friend and pseudo son, and he recently discovered his sexuality in his early thirties. But something he never expected was that his past would come back to haunt him in a good way when he discovered that he has a teenage daughter, and she's already taking after him. How is he going to adjust to fatherhood? Oh, just you wait and see.

One would assume that after being frozen in time for hundreds of years, you'd cease to associate with reality, to find trouble finding a place to belong. Aybora's place is within Buck's life and Buck is happy to be Aybora's place.

Evan Buckley's life is full: a successful career in psychology, loving parents, and a carefully controlled schedule. Which is why it's completely unsurprising when his estranged sister, Maddie, crashes back into his life-stubborn, chaotic, and utterly convinced she knows better than everyone else, including him. I'm so happy to finally have this fic finished! The draft's been sitting on my computer since New Year, and after months of staring at it and waiting for inspiration, I finally managed to wrap it up.

There has been rumours about a new firefighter/paramedic joining the squad permanently, which makes most of them feel very worried about the new dynamic the squad of 118 is going to have, especially to Buck.
