Sarah Mackenzie was seventeen when she died. She died in 1985, at the ripe age of seventeen. Her guide was naturally Wally, one of her closest friends and ex-best friends' boyfriend. What he didn't know was that she had a crush on him the year prior and mourned his death, longer than her friend, long after everyone else stopped, just for her to join him the next year. After her, Charley joined them. Now Maddie. After Sarah's death, she didn't join the afterlife support group. She didn't want to face Wally, both because she still has feelings for him and is embarrassed for taking so long to grieve him. She becomes close with Maddie and thanks to Maddie and Rhonda, they help Wally and Sarah reconnect.
