Kenny grew up in the slums of Detroit . Growing up he didn't have a lot but his mom managed as a single mother to raise him and his older brother Kevin , who is now dead due to gang violence. Their dad left them when Kenny was little . Kenny sells drugs to manage, with his girlfriend Alisha and his best friend Jayquan by his side. Alisha wants him to quit dealing drugs and finish school before he takes a wrong path and end up like his brother . Kenny's mother is trying her hardest to keep him out of the streets but his head is just too hard . She stays up all night sometimes worrying and wondering when he's coming home . She's loosing her mind over him . "He needs to get his stuff together before someone does it for him and that won't be pleasant for any of us."

Desperate (adj.)- feeling, showing, or involving a hopeless sense that a situation is so bad as to be impossible to deal with. She was desperate for a normal life. He was desperate for an escape. Their only solution was each other.

This is a on my block love story, it focuses on Oscar love life. Him meeting a girl falling for her and him constantly battling whether the gang life is worth losing it all. Cesar, Ruby, Monse, Jasmine and Jamal are all in the story as well living their best life. This takes place after season 2, the only two differences is Monse never goes to all girl school and there's no kidnapping. Carmen is new in southern L.A she lives okay-ish house nice for south central L.A with 30 other people uncles, aunts, cousins. Carmen meets Oscar when she picks up her sister from her first day of high school. In this story, their is love, drama, heartbreak, lies, drugs, sex, just like on my block. But this is a good story I promise you. Check it out all old and new characters will appear.
