Lights. Lights were everywhere surrounding my every corner. Alarms ringing into my ears as well as anyone within walking distance. The sound of guns clicking away at my frightened figure brought my eyes agape. The police officer in front of me slowly brought a big bright bullhorn to his mouth and began to carefully talk into it as if I were merely a baby. "Ma'am, drop the weapon! Get down on the ground!" He shouted at me sourly. My mind still couldn't properly comprehend my current situation and everything around me appeared to be visually slowed down while I dropped my body to the ground in fear. My wobbling knees fell upon the pavement so heavily that I fell head first into the solid ground on impact. Blood dripped down heavily from my nose, my eyes were squinting just to try to make out the scene in front of me, my arm was dislocated, and my knuckles were clearly busted open from earlier events. My spine tingled in pain and I was almost positive I had about two broken ribs in my body, but not even that was what made me want to cry. Just before I blacked out, I spotted someone amongst the heap of people surrounding me. I knew that face. It was what made me feel dead inside, and slowly, my eyes shut closed and I was enveloped into an endless, scary, abyss of darkness. I didn't want this. I never asked for this life, but unfortunately, it's what I was stuck with. My name is Jamie Pierce and I was the criminal that Zayn Malik fell in love with. (Doesn't sound too original but it'll get better, I swear) :D First fan fiction!
