There are actually quite a few nonhumans/monsters, both turned and born. Madeleine is a turned creature, given wings and feathers by the Divine. There are many other such creatures, including Espresso. If that makes you uncomfortable in any way, you've been warned. You don't have to read this, you know. Also there's gay (of course) and they're both transgender because I said so and I wanted to make Madeleine suffer period cramps. Don't be homophobic. This story is where Madeleine and Espresso Cookie meet at Parfait Cookie's performance and get to know each other more and ya'kow start liking each other but don't know it yet until something happens.
