Earth Bread has had it's usual day, until...an infection had spread. All cookies have became Demons, except for a small amount of cookies. Madeleine is one of those few, trying his best to get out and find other survivors however, what ever figment he can make out of espresso, has helped him. But there's a price for his kindness.

Hello!! This story is an au where espresso visits the kingdom with latte for fun and they meet a random knight named Madeleine. espresso thought Madeleine was annoying but they still ended up being friends somehow while latte gets close with a girl named raspberry. espresso one day wanders through the forest to see the cookies of darkness. they take espresso with them and do some experimenting with him to make him evil, which the plan works. little did they know latte was watching. espresso basically gets forced to betray the kingdom. the cookies of darkness and espresso go and try to destroy the kingdom. Madeleine and latte see him. they were surprised. Madeleine knew he would never forgive espresso because he betrayed the kingdom. latte was just worried for espresso and just wants him to be normal again since she knew it was a spell. she was hoping it wears off. it did wear off and espresso tried to go back to Madeleine and apologize while latte was just happy espresso was back to normal. the apology to madeleine didn't work so espresso left in tears and went to stay in the forest alone. he knew he made a mistake going into the forest before but he just wishes for his friend back. Latte told Madeleine how she was spying on the dark cookies and they took in espresso and made him evil. Madeleine soon realized how stupid he was and went to go search for espresso to apologize. latte joined in too and they went to go look for him. they did end up finding him and they went back to the kingdom and lived happily ever after. (I might add more to the story after that if I have the motivation.)

Espresso has no idea what to expect when Madeleine tells him he wants to betray the Cookies of Darkness and take power for himself instead. Madeleine wants to....rule the world. But he can only do it with Espresso by his side. Also!!!! I'm altering lore!!!! So, if you notice that some lore or backstory does not line up with the official storyline or lore of any of the cookie games, then that might be because I changed it!! Sorry in advance if that ruins things for you, but I'm also adding new things that would not make sense otherwise. (Also I don't know like half of the lore so just bear with me thanks). Warning before you read this; Madeleine has evil tentacle powers and uses them for both evil and lewd purposes.
