"Hey Katniss," he says. I don't answer, and after awhile he tries to get my attention again. "I don't have any answers so if there's a reason you started hating me, could you please tell me why?" I look over at him, "Why do you think I hate you?" "Well, considering you stopped talking to me out of the blue, I had to assume so." He says. I stopped hanging out with you because I didn't see you as a friend anymore and that scared me. I want to say, but of course I don't. How can they just go about their normal lives when two of them are dead to the world? How can they just pretend everything's fine? Not mention all the stress that comes with school. Relationships, romances, and tensions are running high. Cato and Madge can barely make it, as they try to come to terms with what happened. Meanwhile, Peeta continues to try to win Katniss's heart, but it looks like he may have some competition. On top of it all, Johanna gets cast as one of the two leads in the school play. And it just so happens that the other lead wants nothing more than to get her expelled. One thought prevails this semester. "How will we make it?"

All he could ever think about was her, Katniss. I knew he compared me to her, even when she kissed Peeta. Gale thought he had no one, but that wasn't true. He had me.... He always had.

"I guess it's time. I should move on, start fresh. But I don't know how can I do it." Peeta Mellark has gone through a lot in his life, more than a 16 year old should. But now he can finnaly move on. Or try. Peeta just moved to District 12 to live with his new foster family, a.k.a Haymitch Abernathy, the neightbourhood's drunk idiot. He doesn't know what to expect anymore, nor what to feel towards is new silver-eyed neighbour. Peeta only knows one thing, it's time to burry the past. It's an Everlark fanfiction.
