What really happened in district twelve when Katniss and Peeta were in the arena. ~~~~ Lots of girls have had crushes on Gale before. But Madge feels more than just puppy love. Ever since Gale's father died she saw something inside him. Something that made her little crush for him...grow. But Gale wants nothing to do with her. He believes that he is in love with Katniss....and nothing on earth is going to change that. To him, Madge is the mayors daughter, and that's all she'll ever be.

Life has always been the same for Madge. She's gone to reaping after reaping, never being picked. But when the one person she cares about goes by choice into the arena, facing an almost certain death, something moves inside her. This isn't fair. This isn't right.
