When Katniss's internet friend introduces her to a guy she knows, no one would've guessed a friendship would form. And certainly no one would've guessed they grew a relationship, too.

They used to be friends, but not they're not. Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Madge, Thresh, Johanna, Finnick, Annie, Cato, Clove, Marvel and Glimmer were best friends, but what they thought was selfishness, ghosting or just drifting is so much more. Katniss Everdeen, Clove Kentwell, Glimmer Belcourt, Johanna Mason, Finch Crossley, Madge Undersee, Delly Cartwright and Annie Cresta are starting high school. They're going headfirst into new friendships, new boys, and a lot of new drama. But at least they have each other, right? Panem High School in Savannah, Georgia is famous for its wide range of electives, its beautiful campus and its hilarious variety of education quality (thanks most to a brutally vicious combat instructor and consistently drunk math teacher).
