Safiya Ahmed is a 22 year old girl. She's the type of girl who would smile for someone to make them feel better even when she's hurt. Safiya is a practicing muslim and she's following her deen. She finished her university and is a teacher at a local elementary school. Her parents have dreams and wishes they hope Safiya would fulfil. One of them happens to be marriage. She can never let down her parents. Asem Saleem is 25 years old. He wants to take over his parent's business, however, he is not allowed to do so till he is married. His parents decide to set him up with an arranged marriage. *** "Don't touch me!" I yelled flinching at his sudden hold around my arm. He pulled me close to his chest so I could feel his breath fan over my face. "Listen to me." He warned. I pushed back away from him which resulted in me hitting a wall. "I don't do love, especially not with you." I said, laughing bitterly. "You can't choose your destiny, Safiya." He frowned. "We'll see."
