When society was forced to adapt to a disappearing atmosphere, people found themselves with strange, unexplainable powers. But, when a group of people came together to form a new government to replace the old incapable government, they introduced a plan to recreate the atmosphere. When it worked, the same group created a serum called Genetix to remove the powers society was given so that they could never be overthrown. But, what happens when the serum completely backfires on specific people within the population? For Madilyn, the consequence of that mistake plays a huge role on every aspect of her life...if you could even call her unknown existence to all except her brother a life. Raised here, her entire life is made to show no emotion, only brutality, however Hope struggles against the forces, both physically and mentally in the arena every day. Boys will be boys. Although Mitch and Jerome never thought that bending the rules will end them up in a place very similar to the game which they play without a care in the world. Now these two unlikely groups must combine together to make it through this game.
