So this is a bit like my very first story but not at the same time. Amon has officially left his wife and has moved into Japan completely. He now works full time as investigator. He works with his partner Kureo Mado. He goes through day after day missing his sons and daughter but he tells himself that his departure was for the best. But now he's perplexed with how he's supposed to act around a certain ghoul. His job is to kill them but he can't understand why it's so hard to find the strength to kill this one. Akira Mado and Amon are assigned to look into a significant drug case involving ghouls and their trafficking of narcotics which intensify their already powerful kagunes. Following this case they find themselves immersed in a culture of violence and manipulation, adversity, hierarchies, hatred and the sheer gruesomeness that is the product of depravity, desperation and ruthlessness. They eventually come to realize the depth of morality people will descend to in order to attain power and hedonism. They also come to realize the beauty in life despite strife and the love and compassion that can come from those who have nothing. To complete this case they must reciprocate trust in each other which then evolves into something more intimate. I hate everything about this fanfiction this story is really fucked up but i swear it's romantic I'm not good at coming up with names hence why they all sound like something George RR Martin shat out
