Basically my rewrite of a sad love poem. The original poem was written by Patricia Conner Lovelace.

Madoka finds out she's going back to America in a year, so she decides to make the most of her time left in Mitakihara. Based on the Mobage Cards.

Madoka smiles up at Homura, smiling into her concerned eyes, no matter what tale her Soul Gem says, she was full of hope. "Madoka! Please.. Use the grief seed!" Homura cries out. Madoka takes the wrist of Homura's hand, her smile twinkling. "Homura, it doesn't work. It won't, so stop." *** When Madoka's Soul Gem is almost full of despair, Homura tries to save her with a grief seed, but when she discovers it doesn't work, she flashes back to Sayaka. Did she really dissolve into nothing? Kyoko tells them what really happened, and uncorks what she's been bottling up for months. (PG-13)
