In a universe where "birth abnormalities" do not exist, and every human on earth is the perfect piece in any puzzle, illness and disabilities are seen as fairytale legends, creatures are being created in a secret "out of this world" facility, in an attempt to fix these "abnormalities". Dr Turner, a scientist who managed to create the "perfect world", let one of his abominations escape. This is their interpretation of life in this "perfect" society.

It also assumes a slightly different account of the events of "Sonic Forces" especially in how Zero becomes Infinite.
