A failed experiment that was made by mad scientists, that spread across the whole America. Only the 'lucky' ones will be able to catch the disease, that makes people eager to kill or heal people from their madness and loneliness. Who will be those people? Who will help the people to hide from the mad scientists? You will know soon.

(not finished yet!!) The year is 1976, a group of scientists were fixated on the psychology of fear, their creations were soon to be put in children's homes unknowingly, but their creatures had to look convincingly normal. However, the one thing nobody knew was the dark story behind them and what they've really been through. note: I recommend this to readers above the age of 13 years old as some topics might be disturbing for younger readers (unless you're brave). This story might have some horror elements but I'd say it's more mystery/thriller/sci-fi. The characters in it don't exactly speak, the book does have writing ofc but it only says what happens. The characters don't actually have their own dialogue.

So basically, this is a snippet of a story that I wrote 4 years ago for a writing competition that I was forced to take part in. I chose the topic "The Mad Scientist". I love love love to read, but I somehow lost my love for writing. Having to think up interesting plots and all... So if anyone is interested in my own works, here's a sneak peek of it.

Old college friends Crash, Gill and Jimbo meet up for drinks where upon Jimbo tells Crash and Gill about a scientist who is looking for volunteers for an experiment which will give its subjects enhanced physiology and dinosaur-like abilities, essentially turning them into humanoid dinosaurs. But things are not entirely as they were promised and the three soon find out that they have been tricked into becoming Dr. X-Ray's evil henchmen but they refuse to serve his evil purpose and escape the laboratory, hiding and staying out of sight of the humans they once walked amongst on the streets of Sarasota where they soon embrace their new destiny, fighting crime and protecting the innocent as the Dyno-morphs.

Once in the new world, he had the abilities of a dangerous creature. He could choose between good and evil, and his choices affected the world around him. What changes will occur to his mentality and outlook on the road to self-knowledge and understanding of himself and the world around him? Can he find a balance between his power and responsibility, or will he be the end of everything? The questions put to him are so numerous that each answer leads to more questions. And only time will tell what decisions this hero will make, and how they will affect the lives and destinies of those around him.

Join our protagonist as they stumble their way through an asylum with a horrific past. P.S. This is my first publish on this site and I've worked on this story for only about a month. So I apologize if it seemed like a huge waste of your time.

Shane Williams and Helen Crowsby were two bestfreinds with supernatural powers, Shane had the power of ice while Helen had the power of water, they were just hanging out on the usual place at Lake Rove,When suddenly, a man appeared out of nowhere and had them kidnapped. They were placed in an unknown building, but luckily escaped. When they nearly reached the exit, Shane was killed by a gunshot and Helen was furious for revenge. Helen was wild, and mad but quickly realized that revenge or either being a rebel, was not the smartest thing to do. I had this badly-made story on July 6, 2014 and was supposed to use this as an entry on Wattpads young writer (short story) contest, but I guess the young me didn't have the guts to publish it.
