Haikyuu x Given I DO NOT OWN HAIKYUU OR GIVEN. Misspellings Kagehina first meet like they did in haikyuu. Then the Karasuno volleyball incident happened. On one of their lunch break Kageyama/Unoyama came across Hinata/Mafuyu on the stairs next to the gym. Hinata/Mafuyu was hugging Yuki's guitar. Then the given time line started. This story takes place after their first concert. They are dating in secret the only people that know is Akihiko Kaji and Haruki Nakayama their band mates. they use their middle names when they are performing a concert. So they won't get recognized when they play volleyball because they are in a popular band known as Given. Hinata/Mafuyu live alone Kageyama/Uenoyama comes over often to "hangout" ( makeout).

Sharing a dorm room with Mafuyu should have been a real pain in the ass. But it wasn't. I was actually happy about it. But upset at the same time. Because sometimes, in the middle of the night, I would wake up to the sound of sobbing. I'd lie there, keeping my breathing even and pretending to be asleep. And I'd lie there, watching him, listening to him, begging myself to ask why he was crying. Mafuyu is still grieving over his used-to-be boyfriend, but Ue here doesnt know this. Waking up to his dorm mate crying scares him and he only wants to make it better- but he's progressively making it worse.
