There was a memory, one that still haunts me to this day. Mafuyu and I got into this huge fight, about the plans that we made to go to dinner with everyone. And that was the last time I ever saw him, lying in a hospital bed, all bloody. That's something you can never unsee, especially if you love the person more than life itself. The last thing I remember saying was, "I'm so, so, so sorry," I started to sob "I love you, so much." That was the moment I knew I messed up.. "I love you too, Uenoyama..." Ahhh! I'm finally working on this!! I've been SO excited to do it and I've started planning the entire thing already. I'm already crying just writing the first sentence because I know what's gonna happen and how lmao. ANYWAY STAY TUNED FOR THE STORY!!! By the way, please point out any mistakes (capitol letters missing/ in the wrong place, misspelled words, punctuation, grammar, ect. ect.) Because I write so late at night/really early in the morning I'm always so tired lol.

Uenoyama went from stable boy to knight in a single day after he was taken from his home because of his 'potential' and forced to start a new life in the city. After meeting the king, he was tasked with escorting the prince as he ventured out of the castle walls alongside some experienced knights. Will this fateful encounter allow Ueno to form relationships or will he be forever alone in this unfamiliar place. This is a Uenoyama x Sato fic set in a Fantasy like world. Sato is the prince mentioned in the story description above.

Mafuyu Sato, the lead vocalist and one of the guitarists in the band Given, gets a case of stage fright while preparing for their first concert on their really big tour with his other bandmates, Ritsuka Uenoyama, their guitarists and Mafuyu Sato's boyfriend, Haruki Nakayama, their bassist and Akihiko Kaji's boyfriend, and Akihiko Kaji, their drummer and Haruki Nakayama's boyfriend. While checking to see how things were going out in the audience from backstage, Mafuyu gets really nervous and runs away. Uenoyama is encouraged by their other band members to go after his boyfriend and help comfort and calm him down. I do not own the characters or anything like that. I only own the writing. This is also a very cute and very wholesome Given oneshot. This is my first time writing something like this so please don't judge me. Also if you haven't watched the anime(bc that is what I've done. Sharing a dorm room with Mafuyu should have been a real pain in the ass. But it wasn't. I was actually happy about it. But upset at the same time. Because sometimes, in the middle of the night, I would wake up to the sound of sobbing. I'd lie there, keeping my breathing even and pretending to be asleep. And I'd lie there, watching him, listening to him, begging myself to ask why he was crying. Mafuyu is still grieving over his used-to-be boyfriend, but Ue here doesnt know this. Waking up to his dorm mate crying scares him and he only wants to make it better- but he's progressively making it worse.
