Mary Magdalene highlights a love affair tarnished with sin. Produced in 2011 for my Creative Writing module at university. Written and inspired by Carol Ann Duffy's timeless classic, 'The World's Wife.'

Some friends try to summon a demon.

I could never understand her need to wash His feet; I did not come from Magdalene's world, That nervous sticky world of anonymous diddling, Which mixes its shekels with blood and lies and spit, And leaves its spineless remains In the bellies of involuntary Beasts.

Past Memories focuses on Magdalene Jones, an adopted girl, after being separated from her only friend, Luke Daniels, whom she encounters in her young adult life. She always thought about him, but never expected the day they would meet again. Of course, she also had something else with another love, Zachary Brown. Luke truly misses her and longs to be with her, but Zac wants to have the same destiny with Maggie. Her heart is tangled between two boys. Mixed feelings, unexpected encounters... The inspiration of this poem came from recent news of finding an ancient script that states Jesus had a wife and I was reminded of the Gnostic Gospel of Mary Magdalene (I have no opinion as to whether he was married or single, however), In the beginning of this Gnostic text Mary questions the risen Jesus about life and reality.

In a little theatre a strange actor is on the stage. The devil."Today I will bring there those who participated in the crucifixion, causing the death of Jesus." he says. He will understand that it's true but he intended something different. He will face a wide group of souls, like Pontius Pilate, Claudia Procula, Mary Magdalene, the lady and so on. He will do his work after all. An invitation to my readers and anyone who wants to participate: Help me to correct it.

My stomach flipped when he brushed my neck with his lips...... *** Maybe I liked her-yes, but what's the essence of all these. It's just a mere feeling, just a little self control will do. There's time for everything, I think when we rush into somethings ,we happen to find ourselves crashed. Take. It. Easy. Pull. Your. Self. Together. And. Everything. Will. Be. Fine. No. Need. To. Rush.

A fictional first person account of ultimately, the experience of the spiritual ascension of the human race. Sophie Jackson is a young, single mother who feels as though she is stuck in a rut. Similarly, Evan was a devil, who did a good deed and was also sent to Earth. Both of them were accompanied by two of their friends, and quite coincidentally, they all meet. It was there that they found out many new feelings - friendship, jealousy, fear and maybe love~?

Could be a hoax, could be a true to life story. This short piece is based on the story my grandfather told me when I was a kid. The place where it took place, Olongapo, is his hometown. Could some mysterious events like this be true? If they could, would they be accidental and be out of coincidence or would they be meant to happen?
