Yeshua(Jesus) and Miriam of Migdal (Mary Magdalene) love each other deeply, but Yeshua's mission in life requires him to lead a life of celibacy. I read a chapter of his novel, The Nazarene and could not stop thinking about Miriam of Migdal. Caution: I have no historical or scientific evidence to back up the disciple I chose, nor is that disciple necessarily mentioned in Asch's book, as I have only read some chapters. I also mean no disrespect to Jesus for showing that he may have had romantic feelings towards Miriam of Migdal. Yeshua was strong enough to follow though with his purpose no matter what, and that is something we can al aspire to.

Some friends try to summon a demon.

The inspiration of this poem came from recent news of finding an ancient script that states Jesus had a wife and I was reminded of the Gnostic Gospel of Mary Magdalene (I have no opinion as to whether he was married or single, however), In the beginning of this Gnostic text Mary questions the risen Jesus about life and reality.

Three kingdoms. Three families. Four cousins. Four opportunities. Three toxic kingdoms. One revolution.
