Sendo assim a protagonista chama-se Mariana. Ela cresceu com a liberdade de ser quem quisesse, porém carregava como erro de percurso não estar na posição certa, em suas crises ela sempre questionou como seria se ela fosse Ana. Mariana se apaixonou por mágica na infância e como fio condutor da história a magia a acompanhou, se tornou mágica profissional. Essa era sua paixão, mas muitas vezes pensava ser o seu deslize. Quando completou trinta anos somava mais incertezas do que conquistas e após a comemoração de seu aniversário, com um bom tanto de bebidas alcoólicas passando pelo seu corpo ela vai até onde guarda seus objetos de mágica. Lá deseja que saia um carro quitado da cartola, ler pensamentos de verdade entre outros truques que poderiam ser bem mais interessantes, porém o sono começa bater e ela resolve entrar na caixa do desaparecimento, não estava achando má ideia sumir do mapa. Assim ela dorme lá dentro, porém quando ela acorda as coisas não estão mais do jeito que ela imaginava...
