But they didn't expect that 5 years later, they would meet each other and that's when the story begins. A detective couple and a magical girl couple join forces to protect the Land of the Fountain and a city crying over mysterious cases.. - In Fuuto City, criminals using USBs called Gaia Memory are rampaging throughout the city with the cases the perpetrators have committed. This is when the two-in-one detective teams up with Pretty Cure to keep Fuuto smiling. - Come, settle your sins.

Aoi Tategami and Makoto Kenzaki are two idols who have opposite personalities, with Aoi being the Passionate and Aggressive one, and Makoto being the Gentle and Demure one. Nevertheless, Aoi and Makoto formed an unlikely friendship that turns into sisterly bond. Despite the obstacles that may ruin their bonds, they continue to fight as Precures together and save the day. The duo recruits a group with Love Momozono, Saki Hyuuga, Nao Midorikawa, Rin Natsuki and Elena Amamiya, and they named it "Go Cheerful Crew". Not long after Go Cheerful Crew is recruited, Maiya, a goddess who came from the Music World, searches for Precures to help her stop her cousin Souta, who became the Demon King due to his jealousy. With Aoi, Makoto, and the rest of GCC Casts are up to the mission Maiya gave them, they must work together to stop Souta and his organization, the Warumo Squad. During this mission, the entire GCC Casts will deal with Momona Aose, Kousuke Aoba, and the two fairies: Mary and Angelo.

This story is set in the same universe as Puella Magi Madoka Magica, but features mostly original characters. The town of Stormy Docks, CA is a popular spot for Japanese immigrants, many having traveled on the revolutionary ship SS Hyacinthus. However, on its second trip to America, the Hyacinthus mysteriously sank, breaking apart many families. Within this fractured town, immigrants Hiroko Yamashita, Etsuko Mochizuki, Yui Gushiken, and Mai Matsui fight as magical girls to defend it! Well, most of them do. Hiroko Yamashita has been the sole human friend of these girls for years but was never able to think of the perfect wish. After Hiroko finally takes Kyubey's offer, she realizes that the magical world is not as perfect as she'd dreamed. Amidst missing girls, a mysterious newcomer, and a scheme that may have more relevance to the Hyacinthus than everyone else thought, Hiroko is in way over her head; not to mention the fact that she has to figure it all out before the impending Fourth of July parade! One thing's for certain, though- There's some sort of storm on the horizon.

Princess Haruka is from a planet called Yugen. Shunned because of how rich she is and because she is a princess, Haruka begins to hate herself. God tries to make her feel better by making her become a magical girl. He speaks to her in sleep to tell her what missions she has to do. One day, he speaks to her when she is not sleeping, he asks her if she can help another magical girl like her defeat demons on Earth. The girl God wants Princess Haruka to help is a Japanese gyaru named Tsumugi Kobayashi, she is a INFP who is bold, but is very pessimistic. Haruka goes into a portal God made and is transported to Earth. She meets Tsumugi and she takes Haruka to her home. She tells Tsumugi that she is also a magical girl, but Tsumugi doesn't believe it at first. In order to make Tsumugi believe that she is a magical girl too, she forms magic into her hand. "Wow! So you weren't lying?!" Being a ENFP, Haruka cheers Tsumugi up and helps her find the good in life. They become friends and fight demons, yokai, and anything evil, together!

Sayaka Hishikawa, a sporty, determined, energetic and the most fastest girl in Green Hills Academy, was living her life normally, until she happens to have a strange meeting with an men called Dr. Robotinik. He was along with some metallic white robots behind he and a powerful ladybird robot, Sayaka spot a little bird inside the robot, looking scared, he was stuck there. Sayaka's determination slowly rised up once again, but this time.. It gave life to an blue ring that turned into an blue wrist clock acessory, with the words "Time to Race, Active. Ring Clock!" the clock shines. "Let's Go Sonic! Pretty Cure!" Sayaka became a Pretty Cure, Cure Sonic! As she fought the robots and Shadow, she saved the little bird.
