A cold hospital room was supposed to be the end of Luna's story. Instead, it was just the prologue. After a short life filled with nothing but her parents' bitter shouting and a cruel illness, twelve-year-old Luna dies wishing for just one thing: a family that truly loves her. She gets her wish when she is reborn as the treasured daughter of the empire's wealthiest nobility. In this new world of magic, her doting parents shower her with unconditional love (and far too many plushies). But Luna's second chance comes with a twist-she can understand the voices of monsters. As the ancient creatures of the forest begin to whisper her name, Luna realizes she isn't just a pampered noble girl. She is the legendary Beast Tamer, destined to change the world.

In this world of magic (kinda) and monsters, there lives a species classified as magical beasts. They are called Nekoyona. They often have features like that of a cat and otherwise look human. Yugure is a particularly humanoid Nekoyona who wishes to become a Hunter. At the age of twelve she enters, but as magical beasts aren't technically supposed to be able to become Hunters, she must conceal her identity. Will she be able to keep it from her new friend? and will some new secrets be uncovered as her journey continues? (Rated PG for mild cussing)
