Artoria Ward is an assassin. A bounty hunter. A murderess. Artoria Ward is The Reaper. A relentless, cold-hearted black market worker that executes people for money. Everything is strictly business. At least it seems that way, until Charlie Leon sends her seventy Pounds and a note asking her to kill his abusive parents. That is her job, after all. To kill the people her clients want gone.

With the progression of human society and the emergence of an ever-growing number of metahumans, there is unrest building in the vampire world; the struggle to remain hidden and striking from the shadows when they need to feed is becoming an increasing hassle, which they do not fancy. The two factions of the vampire society see different prospects as solutions. The Drucules, who already loathe the human race, wish to launch a preemptive strike on the human race in an effort to reduce its population. The Alucadians, more tolerant of humans, wish to emerge from the shadows with knowledge that could steer humanity into a lulling peace that would allow vampires alternatives to violence to obtain sustenance. Despite this, there is infighting within the vampire society that would see a civil war come about, infighting that seems to be fueled by a saboteur if anyone would care to observe events for more than two seconds. In the middle are Shade & Plasmasonic; their relationship could be on the line if the mystery behind this chaos is not uncovered. *Shade & Plasmasonic are illustrated by MarloMora. Previously, Plasmasonic (To̅mi Andrei) was lured to Fayetteville, AR, by her archnemesis, Hemic, who manipulated her powers to insinuate that rogue vampire attacks were occurring. After partially foiling Hemic's plans, Plasmasonic turns her attention to Stefania 'Spade' Simonetti, who was reluctantly involved in Hemic's schemes for her own gains. With Hemic gone, Spade seeks to go legit in Fayetteville to insulate her family's operations back in Cincinnati. However, Plasmasonic's sense of justice won't let her ignore Spade's involvement in what has happened. An unknown mastermind has lured Plasmasonic alongside her family to Fayetteville, AR after gathering her rouges together and placing a bounty on her. To make matters worse the mastermind has also framed her father for murder. To̅mi, Amereth, and many other elves that have sought refuge in our realm have encountered a colossal conundrum. The elfen prince of Ihiosadore is demanding that all elves be brought before him for a clandestine cause. However, many believe he has sinister intentions. When an attack on Bedrock from an elfen hierophant spurs Amereth and To̅mi to return to Ihiosadore, Shade accompanies them in support of To̅mi and to help uncover the disreputable practices of the elfen prince. To̅mi has also been having strange dreams that she can't determine the validity of. An older elf promises that they will meet each other again very soon, but she can't remember who it is.
