Skyla is currently on the run from members of an evil group called Pollution who have just destroyed the Nature Kingdom. When Pollution member Tornado confronts Sora and Skyla trying to take the remaining Nature Key, Sora is given the power to transform into the legendary Precure, Cure Lightning! With Tomoe Emiri, who joins her as Cure Ginger, the two of them will do everything they can to revive the Nature Kingdom and prevent their world from being destroyed.

The seasons shift in harmony. Making way for eachother peacefully. But an evil force want to stop that shift and make it an eternal winter. It starts with the Seasonal Isles that's under attack by the Winter court. The hope now is the legendary warriors. Precure. Four fairies are sent to find them and run into Haruri Hanamoto. A gentle girl who loves spring a lot and how the nature gets reborn. She promise to help them. And during a confrontation with a monster, she transforms into a Precure. Hime Shirayuki and Aguri Madoka are princesses with opposite personalities. Hime being Energetic and Childlike, and Aguri being Calm and Levelheaded. The duo crosses paths and they instantly formed a friendship due to similar interests. Thanks to their good heart, Hime and Aguri manage to transform into Precures and fight the forces of evil together. Together with Hibiki Hojo, Ruru Amour, Kotoha Hanami, Miki Aono, and Himari Arisugawa, the duo then recruit the group as "Joyful Girls Squad". As Hime, Aguri, and their other 5 friends were known as Joyful Girls Squad, they face a new obstacle: A princess of the Friendship Kingdom, namely Sarah, flee from her hometown due to the invasion led by an evil wizard named Kahlil, and his organization called the Nuisance Clan. To help Sarah save the Friendship Kingdom, the whole JGS Casts must find a way to defeat Kahlil. While the JGS Casts are fulfilling the mission, Akari Hoshidera, Saku Ozora, and their fairy partners, namely Ara and Julie, step in to support them.

Rimuru's attempt at becoming a true demon lord failed, resulting in his death.
