Thrown to the wolves at an incredibly young age and left none the wiser about his magical heritage, Harry Potter struggles for his life for eleven long years at the hands of his relatives. When he learns of his past, his roots, and his culture, Harry is understandably livid. Resolving to be better than his twin, the reason why he was abandoned, Harry resolves to carve his name into history as one of the greatest wizards of Britain. After all, Ollivander had said he had had the potential to do great things. Yes, Terrible, but great things.

Harry, for the first time in his life, stops and questions what others tell him, and wonders why should he listen to everything told to him? He will not Bow, king of Gryffindor be damned. And the rest of the first years? They take one look at the determined set of Harry Potter's scrawny shoulders and the the fire in his haunted eyes and find a cause worthy to stand up for. Excerpt: The King stares at him, hate and something else in his eyes, willing him to beg for his life or turn dust. He looks at his tattered inner robes and old glasses and makes a mistake. He underestimates Harry, and that, that will be his downfall. "No one, absolutely no one will help the first years . Let's see how long does the Saviour and his cohorts last, before crawling on their knees for forgiveness." Harry wonders why people forget that caged animals are more dangerous, positively feral as compared to an animal in his own territory. Well, their damn fault for turning want to need. After all, A revolution begins with necessity.

Brought together by the Ministry of Magic's Marriage Law, Draco and Hermione work together to undermine the edict and subvert their arranged marriage while most decidedly not falling in love in the process.
