Just a bunch of Merlin ideas I have stuck in my head, and this is the only way to get rid of them. I DO NOT OWN MERLIN OR BBC! NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL! Warning: Character death. Gaius' death at the hands of Morgana drives Merlin over the edge. Giving up destiny he confronts Morgana and she is forced to rethink her decisions regarding Camelot or else there will be no Camelot left to take. Set somewhere in season 3.

Based on BBC's Merlin, takes place post season 3 and leads in to season 4. Arthur Pendragon has been crowned King of Camelot as his father's condition worsens. His coronation is celebrated with a fortnight of festivities. Merlin shares some secrets and finds more acceptance than he thought was possible. His magic matures and he has trouble controlling it at times. After an unfortunate encounter with Slavers, Arthur has demanded that Merlin take part in a training regimen including swordsmanship and hand-to-hand. The Knights all know about Merlin's magic and have claimed him as their younger brother. Well. Except Gwaine, who wants more than friendship with the warlock.

Merlin's spell accidentally went wrong causing him and Arthur travel to the future, more specifically - to Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With the help of three teenage wizards they will try to find a way to return to their time to Camelot. As per usual Merlin, Arthur and the gang get captured. But when things are looking grim, will Merlin get them out.

Merlin's magic is revealed on a hunting trip with Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Merlin is chained but a storm strikes and the King and his knights are forced to camp out in a cave with their prisoner. Arthur doesn't take it well and Merlin pays the price. What happens when destiny breaks? Who's going to fix it? Eventual Mergana.

I loved the idea behind my 'Scars' chapter in my oneshot/headcanon book (although yes I know others have done it) so I decided to turn it into a book. Each chapter will be a different episode, there might be some chapters in the middle after hard hitting episodes (looking at you 'Lady of the Lake'). So yeah the first chapter is just that oneshot, then it goes onto the story. Obvi won't include Arthur's death but has good Mordred. Chapter uploads will be sporadic but I promise you I'm not giving up on this story

What if Merlin gave Arthur different advice and in turn Arthur made a different choice in S5E5: The Disir. Magic would have become accepted in Camelot early in season 5 and changed the entire course of the show. Set in season 5 episode 9, things go slightly wrong, in which Merlin is caught crossdressing and Arthur actually has half a brain. One-shot. Might make into a two shot. Disclaimer: the Merlin characters do not belong to me. Also this one shot is posted on my fanfiction.net account as well, under the same username. When both Gwen and Merlin witness another accident caused by Morgana's magic, there is no more denying. Despite Gaius' strong advice against it, Merlin decides to help Morgana and tell her and Gwen about his magic. Up until now, he has accepted it. But, once he learns the horrible truth about Morgana's future, he allows himself to doubt his beliefs. Ultimately, will he trust fate and destiny to guide him, or will he create his own path to the future? Merlin has made his decision, a promise to himself and to the woman he loves. When faced with enemies that are sure to win the fight, Merlin only has one choice: expose his magic to Arthur and risk execution. In his haste to protect Arthur, Merlin accidentally kills all the men they were fighting, instead of simply knocking them out like he intended to. Merlin panics a little when Arthur confronts him afterwards. This is a Merthur Oneshot. I also have it posted on my Tumblr and AO3.
