As per usual Merlin, Arthur and the gang get captured. But when things are looking grim, will Merlin get them out.

I loved the idea behind my 'Scars' chapter in my oneshot/headcanon book (although yes I know others have done it) so I decided to turn it into a book. Each chapter will be a different episode, there might be some chapters in the middle after hard hitting episodes (looking at you 'Lady of the Lake'). So yeah the first chapter is just that oneshot, then it goes onto the story. Obvi won't include Arthur's death but has good Mordred. Chapter uploads will be sporadic but I promise you I'm not giving up on this story

After Merlin is kidnapped on a hunting trip, Morgana casts a spell that forces Merlin to tell the truth. How will he keep his secrets from his friends? And when Morgana finally gathers the means to attack Camelot, what will Merlin do to stop it? This is a Merthur fic, but not primarily focused on Merthur. Doesn't really take place in a specific time, but Uther is dead. Lancelot is alive because he's a beautiful human being who didn't deserve his pain and I lowkey forgot to add Mordred in the beginning so he's working with Morgana for now. All it took was one trip to Camelot to change destiny forever. When Merlin and his younger sister, Vivian, are sent to live with Gaius in Camelot, they expect a fresh start. What they don't expect is to be thrown into a kingdom where magic is outlawed, secrets can get you killed, and the royal family is far more complicated than they first appear. Morgana decides that she is tired of looking for Emrys. She burns down Ealdor and all its people, except Hunith, taking her as a hostage. She then arrives to Camelot, and tries to make a deal with Merlin and Arthur. But she makes a big mistake. When Merlin realizes what actually happened at Ealdor, he forgets all about hiding who he is. There is nothing for him to lose, and he no longer cares about destiny.

After a hunt gone wrong, the knights, Prince Arthur, and Merlin end up in the crystal cave, where Merlin realizes his true potential. Will he continue to be the cheerful servant we know and love, or will he turn into a warlock much more twisted... Basically I have a starting story that has different endings. I couldn't decide which one I wanted to write, so I just did both. One ending is dark Merlin and the other is just Merlin being himself. Hope you like it!!

After some time, when the round table was just established and knights went out on patrols, they eventually start talking about events that have happened in Camelot so far. One day, some of them mentiones how Merlin always seems involved. Which is why Gwaine made it his mission to make Merlin the travel Cryptid. Why is he stealing dresses? How come he suspects someone of treason and the next day they find them dead with evidence of their treason around? After some time of this game called: connecting the dot's it becomes a thing. There is about as much bullshit as there are right guesses. But which are which is up to you to decide. A.N.:// the art is mine :)

Merlin's magic is revealed on a hunting trip with Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Merlin is chained but a storm strikes and the King and his knights are forced to camp out in a cave with their prisoner. Arthur doesn't take it well and Merlin pays the price. Based on BBC's Merlin, takes place post season 3 and leads in to season 4. Arthur Pendragon has been crowned King of Camelot as his father's condition worsens. His coronation is celebrated with a fortnight of festivities. Merlin shares some secrets and finds more acceptance than he thought was possible. His magic matures and he has trouble controlling it at times. After an unfortunate encounter with Slavers, Arthur has demanded that Merlin take part in a training regimen including swordsmanship and hand-to-hand. The Knights all know about Merlin's magic and have claimed him as their younger brother. Well. Except Gwaine, who wants more than friendship with the warlock.

I will post all kinds of Merlin AU's on here. They will be short or long, with different ships and storylines. From Merthur to Magic Reveal and deaths. I hope you like it! :)

arthur and merlin accidentaly see each other in the woods. things happen and they spend some time together. or: merthur being dumbasses in love and not even realizing it.

But destiny has weaved their fates and lives together, and Merlin cannot stop protecting Camelot and Arthur even if he wants to, even if the Gods themselves command him to. It is just as well Arthur is having more than a few crises of his own.

Arthur had always thought that he was lucky like he had some sort of guardian angel. He never thought that the guardian angel watching over him was his clumsy oaf of a servant, Merlin. Morgana has been having nightmares. She's starting to think that she might have magic. When she tells Merlin about it he decides not to hide his magic from her anymore. When Morgause comes to Camelot, Morgana has to choose between her home in Camelot and her freedom. Merlin worries about Morgana. When Morgana seeks his help deciding her future, Merlin think's she's gone mad. He can't leave Camelot, he can't leave the man he loves. But what happens when Arthur finds out about Merlins magic?
