Set after war of the spark novels but it wasn't Chandra and nissa didn't separate. I don't own magic the gathering or any of the characters used. Btw I haven't done a lot of research on the lore of MTG but I did read the war of the spark novels. I also don't own the art.

The (semi) official rule book to help you understand all of the ins and outs of my own custom card game (totally NOT based around some core aspects of MTG and Insryption, (great games by the way, would highly recommend) for copyright purposes of course) based around the world of Monster Hunter. Everyone knows of the gatewatch. Gideon, Jace, Liliana, Chandra, Nisa, and Ajani. These 6 planes walkers helped defend their realms from the Eldrazi Titans and defeat Nicol Bolas. on the night Naruto Uzumaki was born the 9-tailed fox was controlled and forced to attack the leaf village. that same night, when the 9-tailed fox was being sealed away around the same time Bolas was sealed into another dimension by the gate watch the sealing was interrupted by something more powerful than chakra. more dangerous than a tailed beast and more powerful. a dimensional portal opened up and while the 9-tailed fox was successfully sealed into Naruto, so was Nicol Bolas. Fearing the return of his brother Ugin sent the gatewatch to this new world should Bolas ever return. but despite the sealing being successful, the shinigami didn't get the 4th Hokage and Kushina Uzumaki's souls. his power was disrupted by the gatewatch member Liliana Vess the planes walker who commands the undead and death itself. with her mana, the shinigami fled as all God's of death usually did. Now gifted with the power of mana how will Naruto change the shinobi world???. and how exactly would the gatewatch keep themselves concealed???. let's start the story and find out. I don't own Naruto or Magic The Gathering. their property of wizards of the coast and Masashi Kishimoto. this is purely fanfiction and not for gain of any kind.

I do not own any magic the gathering related characters and guilds also planes. They belong to Wizards of the Coast. Once again, I use my main Oc Blossom Hitomawa. My friends have been bugging me to make a Mtg one, so might as well.

Disclaimer:( This is a fan-made REWRITE of the Zendikar Rising story arc included on the official Magic the Gathering website.) I felt like the original was poorly handled with cringe dialogue and characters. I'm rewriting the entire story, trying to keep a similar plot and characters, but improve the dialogue and breathe some life into our heroes. This story includes little in the way of explaining basic concepts like Planeswalker or previous stories. Many names are dropped, so a basic knowledge of the plane will definitely help your enjoyment of the story. If there is a large desire to make it more non-magic player friendly that can be arranged.

this is a short story based off a magic the gathering card my husband liked, we wrote this together and he is too shy to show anyone but i think we did a pretty good job! so the inspiration card was the Pale Rider of Trostad, the artist is Seb McKinnon and my husband LOVES his art.
