A couple of years after Sinbad's death, Ja'far is having a though time dealing with the loss. Tormented by memories of the past, he must find a way to let go of the grief, or lose himself to the pain. I do not own Magi or it's characters, this is a personal project with the intent of entertaining others like myself who enjoyed the original story. Although this is meant to follow how I think the original story would go, there is a fan-character that serves a major purpose in the storyline, not a self-insert, but a fun little twist and practice of character-creation for myself. Having already without knowing bumped into them a while ago and never knowing who it was they'd decided to just forget about even trying. Judal was Sinbads last guess at a soulmate, given that they'd been enemies since meeting. So you could imagine the surprise on the man's face when Judal showed up on his doorstep one night; Beaten, shivering and spouting incomprehensible words before collapsing on the spot.
