After Alec almost died, Magnus hoped for him to wake up any time soon. But when Alec does, his boyfriend realizes, that he has to tell him about the loss of his magic and immortality. Will Alec still love him the same, even though he isn't that magical anymore? The story is set after the midseason final of season 3 (3x10). When Jace is kidnapped by Valentine, Alec is worried about him. What was even worse was that he keeps lashing out everyone, and only asks if anyone has found anything about his Parabati. Izzy, Alec's sister, tried to cheer him up, but all he did was push her away. Clary tried to get him to calm down, but he got angry at her and saying this was all her fault. The last hope was Magnus, but Alec had said something that destroyed him. Magnus knew that Alec would never be the same if Jace was back home, and that's what his mission was. To rescue Jace for Alec to be happy again, but it wouldn't be easy especially when you're rescuing someone from a homicidal person who wants him dead. Will Magnus make it in time to rescue Alec's Parabati? Will Alec be his old self again? You just have to find out...

For years, the lands of Eidolon and Idris had been at war. The opposing Kings were ready to fight the final battle, and all were ready to watch the downfall of one of the lands, though none knew which it was to be. When Prince Magnus stumbled upon Prince Alexander somewhere on the boundaries of Idris and Eidolon, he didn't think twice about accepting the offer of returning to Idris with him, especially after he'd found out exactly who Alexander was. Then you have Magnus Bane who is the Prince of Hell's son, not to mention he has been cursed with silence for the rest of his life. That's what you get when you're the less favorite child. Anyways, when the Prince of Hell, Asmodeus, and the Angel ambassador, Robert Lightwood, strike a deal to give one of their children away so that heaven will be safe. Alec stood up to the plate to help, he descended all the way down to hell. Yes he was uncomfortable, but when he met Magnus something had sparked in him to love him. "One day, we'll get out of here and when we do...I'll find a way to get your voice back"
